I love you

In renunciation the transfiguration occurs

Renunciation is a transformative process, one that has always captivated me about the Sufis. They believe that love serves as the bridge to everything, the key to experiencing a profound sense of fulfillment.

Some refer to it as giving up, while others call it letting go. Both approaches achieve the same result. When we release our attachment to material possessions and detach ourselves from people, we liberate our hearts and allow our souls to truly connect.

By resisting the temptations of life and freeing ourselves from the need for attachment, we become stronger. This strength does not mean disconnecting from others, but rather not becoming overly attached.

Attaining this state of freedom enables us to love purely for the sake of love itself. We no longer seek anything in return, nor do we strive to win someone's affection. It is a love that transcends personal gain.

Through renunciation, we create space in our minds and hearts for love to flourish. This love radiates through us metaphorically, making us feel as light as a feather.

This is the kind of love I aspire to give to everyone I encounter, whether on the street, in a store, or anywhere else. Just pure, unconditional love for the sake of love itself.

Goodnight, everybody.
