Why did you tell me.

In the realm of Islam, there exists a profound saying that advises against seeking knowledge that may bring harm upon oneself. This saying resonates deeply with me, as it highlights the tendency we humans have to become consumed by our curiosity about past events. However, incessantly searching and delving into these matters will not bring us peace; instead, it will only lead to suffering.

It is crucial for us to reflect upon our own behavior and reactions in similar situations. If we find ourselves repeatedly experiencing the same outcomes, it is a clear indication that we have not learned the lesson intended for us.

There are certain things that we simply do not need to know, and it is in our best interest that this information remains hidden from us. Some knowledge has the potential to cause immense damage, and it is a testament to our belief in our own capabilities that we assume we can handle it.

Furthermore, there are instances where information is withheld from us because our minds are not yet capable of comprehending it. However, as time goes on, we may come to understand the reasons behind these occurrences and the wisdom they hold.

By surrendering and accepting our circumstances, we open ourselves up to receiving answers and gaining wisdom. This process also teaches us the invaluable virtue of patience as we navigate through each step.

The clarity of our minds plays a significant role in our ability to receive and understand these insights. How to achieve such clarity is a topic for another discussion, which we shall explore at a later time.

Wishing you all a peaceful and restful night.
