Good times :)

Upon our arrival after the Maghrib prayer, Rita was already in the kitchen cooking up a storm. I decided to whip up a dessert before heading there, attempting to create a new treat that resembled a fluffy cloud melting in the mouth.

It didn't turn out exactly as planned, but it was decent.

Rita mentioned how she had woken Joe up when the prayer began, urging him to join wake up for Iftar Hehe. We all shared a hearty laugh over it.

As we prepared the food, we had a spread of dishes - one with animal protein and another vegan option for Lilly and Joe, who were observing Lent. Joe couldn't help but be envious of our spread and made light-hearted jokes about it.

The atmosphere during Ramadan with family is truly special. Rita has a way of creating a cozy and loving environment.

We indulged in delicious food while reminiscing about our trip to Indonesia and discussing the loss of our dear dog, Little Boy.

Our conversation also drifted to the TV series we were watching this Ramadan. Lilly suggested revisiting some old favorites from previous years.

It was a lovely evening filled with love and connection. It made me realize that beyond religious beliefs, people can connect on a deeper level - one of love, security, and care.

I cherish our little family and the bond we share.

Remember, judgment is a choice influenced by our perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. Let's strip away those layers and see the truth with our hearts, feeling the love and care that unites us all.

Sending love to my dear family. Goodnight, everyone.
