72 Hours without food

With only four days remaining in Ramadan, I have decided to embark on a unique challenge. For the next three days, I will be participating in a water fast, abstaining from any food intake. This is something I have been meaning to try for a while, but I believe that everything happens at the right time when we are truly prepared.

This 72-hour fasting period will not only allow my body to cleanse itself but also provide clarity to my mind amidst the chaos of everyday life. By conserving energy and slowing down, I will have the opportunity to observe things that often go unnoticed due to the unnecessary distractions we face.

Although I have no specific expectations, I am excited to delve into this new experience and explore myself emotionally and mentally during these three days. I imagine that my cells will be grateful for the break from food, allowing them to rejuvenate and rest.

My preparation for this fast has primarily been mental, as it is my first time attempting such a challenge. It feels mysterious and slightly daunting, but I am confident that I am ready to take it on.

In anticipation of the fast, I have already adjusted my food intake, focusing on legumes, vegetables, nuts, and indulging in refreshing smoothies.

Today, I will be attending an Iftar gathering with my former colleagues, and afterwards, I will begin my three-day journey. I will keep you updated and share any significant experiences along the way.

Until then, take care and talk to you later, my friends.
