Living fully and consciously

Yesterday, I diligently wrote an article, but today proved to be quite hectic, leaving me with no time to open my laptop and finalize and share it. Just a couple of hours ago, I finally had the chance to open my laptop and share the article, only to realize that I had forgotten to save it. What a disappointment!

Now, I find myself faced with the task of writing not one, but two articles tonight. Well, maybe I'll manage, or maybe I won't.

In my article from yesterday, I discussed the concept of conscious living. I reflected on an iftar gathering I attended, where I noticed how disconnected we have become from ourselves and the world around us. It was disheartening to see everyone solely focused on devouring their food, resulting in the entire gathering lasting a mere 50 minutes.

Since I don't immediately eat after breaking my fast, I didn't have the opportunity to join in the feast. Instead, I contemplated going home to prepare a meal, but the thought didn't appeal to me, as I anticipated the gathering to last longer than it did.

Luckily, I had harvested some oyster mushrooms earlier in the day, so I decided to cook them. I prepared two different dishes, and they turned out to be incredibly delicious. It was the perfect last meal before embarking on my 72-hour water fast.

Living consciously is truly the key to a happy, fulfilling, and meaningful life. I am content and grateful for where I am in my life right now. I am pleased with my personal growth, the gradual process of learning, and my continuous quest for knowledge. As we delve deeper, we realize that what we once knew was merely the surface, not the core.

Wishing everyone a goodnight and remember to approach everything you do with consciousness.
