My new gift :)

Last week, I received a wonderful surprise from my brother Khaled's friend - a set of Qi balls, also known as Baoding balls. It was such a thoughtful gesture, considering how connected they are to my practice.

To be honest, I had never heard of these balls before, but once I laid my eyes on them, I was captivated by their beauty. And let me tell you, they sound absolutely delightful! Naturally, my curiosity was piqued, and I embarked on a quest to uncover the secrets of these Chinese balls.

As I delved into my research, I discovered that most Baoding balls are made up of two hollow spheres, each containing a chime that produces a soothing ring when the inner ball strikes the outer one. Fascinating, isn't it?

In the realm of traditional Chinese medicine, we believe in the existence of Chi, or Qi - the life energy that flows through our bodies via channels called meridians. These meridian lines connect our fingers to all the vital organs, including our brain. It is believed that Baoding balls can stimulate these meridian points, restoring the flow of chi and promoting overall well-being.

While the primary focus of Baoding balls is on the hands and fingers, the rotational motion can actually benefit the entire body. The pressure created by the movement of these balls enhances the flow of internal energy, leading to a multitude of benefits:

1. Relieving stress and anxiety
2. Relaxing muscles and joints
3. Improving mental state and reducing memory loss
4. Enhancing the quality of sleep

As you rotate the Baoding balls in your hands, not only are your hand muscles engaged, but your brain also becomes actively involved. This creates a sense of focused awareness and mindfulness, allowing you to avoid distractions and truly connect your mind and body.

I am absolutely thrilled with my gift, and who knows, once I become a master of these balls, I might even make a video to share with all of you. goodnight.

Sleep well, everyone!
